Stars in your eyes, everything is fine I’m sure I just forgot to take my Zoloft last night I’m alright, everything is fine My brain’s just making up problems and this isn’t real… Life Stars in your eyes, hope dripping out of your mouth And I’m crying this isn’t right It’s been a south loop winter, wind is getting stronger And I hope that the feeling stays a little longer I tried I— tried Nothing in the sky, nothing in my head I had to lay down on the floor when my stomach went red Im so tired, everything is dead And the world’s getting smaller I hope I can get out of my… Bed I tried I—tried I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here car crash through the wall I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here… at all Stars in my eyes, Covering my lungs, Rotting through my teeth, And bleeding out my gums Stars in the sky Come crashing back down And the pink fills my mind I hope I can escape and not… Drown I— tried I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here car crash through the wall I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here I don’t want to be here… at all

about

This album began as a collection of music from various projects I had worked on and never finished about space. It eventually grew into what it is now, an existential exploration of the unknown. The first track asks a question, and the rest try to answer it, culminating in a conclusion marked with a full stop: Stars. (and everything they represent)

Special thanks to:
Jack, for bass on "Stars." and being willing to listen to my far out ideas.
Seth, for inspiring more songs than space itself, and being there for me through all the existential dread.
Remi, Ellie, and Brandon, for listening to my music more than anyone on Earth.
Mom, Dad, Sophia, Micah, and Obi for being the most supportive family in the universe.
